With wide, tree-lined streets and spacious lots, the resort has a calm and welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back year after year. Whether you’re visiting for a short stay or settling in for the season, you’ll find everything you need right here.
A relaxing 55+ community
Our full hookup RV sites include 30/50 amp power, water, and sewer connections. Every site offers plenty of space for your rig, making Fig Tree RV Resort big rig friendly and easy to navigate. The park is fully fenced with a limited access gate, giving guests a sense of safety and privacy. Large trees provide natural shade, while the neatly maintained grounds showcase our beautiful landscaping and attention to detail. Each site features high-speed fiber internet to help you stay connected, all you need is your own router and Ethernet cable.
At the heart of the community is our large clubhouse, a favorite gathering place for social events and activities. Inside, guests enjoy three pool tables, a dance floor, a stage for live entertainment, and a kitchen designed for community meals. The recreation hall also offers free Wi-Fi, so you can stay connected while relaxing with friends. Bingo nights, potlucks, and dances bring the community together, while the book exchange and exercise equipment make quiet afternoons enjoyable.
When it’s time to unwind, the heated pool and hot tub are popular spots to relax. Our on-site massage therapist helps guests ease into a state of total comfort. The park also offers clean showers, laundry facilities, mail service, propane availability, and convenient trash and recycling. For pet lovers, the fenced dog park provides a safe place for pets to play and socialize.
Close to Mexico and South Padre Island
The location of Fig Tree RV Resort puts you close to many wonderful South Texas attractions. Take a day trip to South Padre Island for beachside fun or explore nearby nature areas like the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. In Brownsville, visit Resaca De La Palma State Park and World Birding Center for unforgettable birdwatching. McAllen’s Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park and San Benito’s Adolph Thomae Jr. County Park are also just a short drive away. Nuevo Progreso is about 19 miles away, around a 35 to 40 minute drive.
